Blister centres ensure that medicine rolls are delivered to their customers. These can be hospitals, nursing homes and pharmacies. A patient receives the medicines through a channel specific delivery service.
With our Digital Pouch platform we offer extra services via smartphones to people who use medicine rolls on a daily base. Each medicine roll gets an extra bag with a QR code on it. When this QR code is scanned, data is downloaded to a smart services smartphone app.
For example, an alarm clock that reminds a patient to take the next medicine pouch or a notification from the pharmacy that tells you when and what time a new roll of medicine will be delivered to your home or can be picked up. These are business-to-consumer services from pharmacy to customers. All these smart services are provided by the Digital Pouch platform.
